Canberra Electric Bikes - Philip is a collaboration between Jake from Sydney Electric Bikes and John from Lonsdale Street Cyclery.
Sydney Electric Bikes was one of the first Ebike shops in Australia opening in 2009 and has the biggest range in Australia. Since 2009 SEB has been selling Ebikes to thousands of customers around the country including a large number of customers who travelled from Canberra to Sydney to check out our vast range of electric bikes.
The feedback we received from many customers coming from Canberra was that ebikes weren't a priority in their local bike shops and the choices were slim. That's certainly changing fast as more shops get on board the electric train. We are pleased to offer the widest range in town and with a reasonable price point.
John has run his shop in the centre of town for four years and ebikes have become the strongest category for sales. It was only natural for him to leap at the opportunity to invest into an ebike specific bike shop given the growth nationally in the electric bike space.
The workshop at our Phillip store is run by Thiago at Capital Cyclus.
He is a gun mtb rider on both electric and acoustic steads and a very experienced mechanic having worked as the Senior Mechanic at Sydney Electric Bikes for three years. His knowledge of electric mountain bikes is extensive so a great person to chat with if you are in the market for an eMTB.

All prices are GST Inclusive and are in Australian dollars. Payment methods are Cash, Credit Card or EFT. Please note that credit cards attract a 2% payment fee. Courtesy of the banks. EFT is free but funds will need to be cleared before we despatch goods.
All our bikes come with a 30min free first service within the first 500km. If you are willing and able we will teach you how to adjust your own brakes saving you time and money into the future.
