The eSPRESSO is dominated by an exciting range and power upgrade - thanks to the new internal 630 Wh battery and the option for the more sporty rider, to go for a Shimano EP8 equipped model. The modern in-tube battery design in combination with the purposeful and hugely comfortable geometry as well as the seamless integration of the whole spectrum of Shimano’s powerful STePS motors sets the eSPRESSO apart from other e-bikes.

ASSISTED LOW STEP-THROUGH COMFORT
Our hugely popular and versatile low step-through eSPRESSO is getting some exciting upgrades for 2021. All models (except the 300 SE) will feature the 'Energy Cradle' frame design that holds the new 745 Wh from Simplo or 630 Wh battery from Shimano and will have an even lower and wider step-through. The new frame is available in derailleur drivetrain and hub gear version and maintains its excellent frame stiffness. The eSPRESSO CITY's modern design, in combination with the purposeful and hugely comfortable geometry as well as the seamless integration of the whole spectrum of Shimano’s powerful STePS motors (including the new and highly powerful EP8 power unit), sets the CITY apart from other city e-bikes. A low centre of gravity, paired with a strong and stiff frame enables the eSPRESSO CITY to deliver fantastic riding characteristics in any situation. Mounting and dismounting the eSPRESSO CITY is very easy due to its extremely low stepthrough height.

URBAN MOBILITY OR CROSS COUNTRY VERSATILITY
In our new eSPRESSO CC bike we have combined the best features of two different bike categories, city bikes and off-road bikes, offering those who wish to take the advantage of a comfortable city low step-in bikes but do not want to miss the robustness, power and freedom that an off-road bike offers, the perfect choice. To offer the best setup for both, city and off-road cycling, we offer two different model specifications. While the TK models are clearly more city oriented, but still giving the rider the possibility for light off-road riding on for example gravel roads, the CC models are more off-road focused in their specifications but can also be used for city riding. Available either with hub gear or derailleur drivetrain.

TWO FRAME OPTIONS
The eSPRESSO CC is available with the new 'Energy Cradle' frame, where the 745 or 630 Wh battery (depending on model) is housed on top of the downtube, and can be accessed via a removable aluminium battery cover, or as a semi-integrated frame, where the 504 Wh battery is integrated into the lower part of the downtube.
EXCELLENT FRAME STIFFNESS THROUGH ENERGY CRADLEUnique cradle like shaping of the downtube to accommodate the battery, without losing the all important frame stiffness of our low step-through frames. By not adding cutouts to the downtube, we can maintain the outstanding frame stiffness, that prevents our low step-through bikes from wobbling under load. Paired with an aluminium battery cover, the frames give the impression of an integrated battery, without sacrificing stability and battery accessibility. The tapered head tube, the large tube diameters and the forged motor bracket all contribute to achieving a safe and precise riding experience.
FULLY EQUIPPEDThe eSPRESSO CC come fully equipped with fenders, kickstand, carrier and lights. Ready for any outing you can think of.
OPTIMISED CENTRE OF GRAVITYA centrally positioned low centre of gravity, which has been achieved through the positioning of the battery in the lower position of the downtube as well as the location of the Shimano motors, enables to deliver fantastic riding characteristics in any situation which are extremely important in particular in wave low step through frames which have the tendency to chatter and jitter when power is applied.
650B WHEELS WITH BIG VOLUME TYRESThe decision to use 650B wheels with 2.25" off-road tread pattern for our CC models is not just a design feature but has more practical reasons. To add big volume tyres to an e-bike provides increased comfort but also extra traction and therefore more safety reserves. Small and even bigger bumps can easily be rolled over, and a big volume tyre provides more puncture protection compared to a narrow one.
INTERNAL CABLE ROUTINGWe feature internal cable routing on all models. Cables are routed through the frame, entering and exiting through smooth sockets. Only a clever system for our internal guiding and fixing guarantees reliable and rattle free routing, whilst the cables are protected from moisture and dirt and gives the bike a cleaner look.
LOW STEP-THROUGHThe Shimano mid-mounted motor, in combination with the forged motor bracket provides one of the lowest step-through heights in the market.
